ABOUT CQE

Care Quality Ecosystems (CQE) was founded in 2016 by Group Care Director, James Cullen and Industrial Psychologist Harold Sharples.

Both have substantial experience and success at board level in both the Residential Care Industry and Business Leadership & Management Mentorship.

Their partnership began after a discussion regarding the explosive growth of media articles exposing the overwhelming escalation of abuse in nursing & residential homes.

They questioned how a care home culture can erode under the nose of its leaders. Unchecked, a culture will become toxic, creating disastrous consequences for residents, their families and staff not to mention the ultimate impact on the financial stability of the business

His care group grew as a result of the growing demand for community placements. James remained the group care director for three decades.

CQE INNOVATION & COLLABORATION

Several years of research and development led to the creation of the Ecosystem.

A collaboration followed with Sci-Tech in Daresbury and the newly formed HealthTec Cluster.

As a participant in the HealthTec Cluster, the CQE innovation team, continues to improve the service, for the benefit of nursing and residential care home operators.

The Ecosystem became crucial for managers in the residential care home industry, because it took the guesswork out of recruitment, built strength into teams and developed trust throughout the home. The outcome is the creation of ‘abuse resistant’ and sustainable care cultures.

OUR MAIN AREA OF FOCUS

Our Focus is on Residential Care Homes and the Quality of their Culture.

OUR KEY OBJECTIVES

Our Objective is to Enable Care Leaders and Managers to create transparent Care Cultures.
